The roots of the Commsolid team go back to 1999 when Systemonic AG was founded. Since then, the team is used to work on wireless standards, especially OFDM based ones. There is a long history on following and even influencing wireless standards, in particular in IEEE 802.11 and 3GPP, with experience in both early phases where the standard is a kind of moving target, as well as stable standards such as IEEE 802.11a.
